MZRH partners with MOI experts for a five day Surgery camp.

Specialists from Mbeya Regional Referral Hospital and Muhimbili Orthopedic Institute (MOI) from Dar es Salaam joined forces to set up a surgery camp at MZRH. The camp lasted for five days from April 8th to April 12th.The camp involved a number of cases including Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus. On the first day, one of three cases was a 9-month old child with Spina Bifida who successfully underwent surgery that lasted for about an hour.
