How we Facilitate our Partners

CHT forms strategic partnerships and alliances with health-care service providers and parent-support groups to achieve its core objectives that are mainly concerned with providing a better life for children with Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus in Tanzania, and will extend its wings for cooperation to all kinds of organizations that can contribute to its mission.

Some of our achievements from these partnerships include:

  • Improved supply of medical and surgical materials such as Shunts, Catheters, Oxybutynin, ETV Machines, Ultrasound machines and Sanitary ware to hospitals and care centers.
  • Support to the ‘Houses of Hope’ in Mwanza, Zanzibar, Dar es Salaam and other projects in Tanzania.
  • Coordinate training and coaching programs such as Continence Management, transit homes (HoH) management, medical training, etc.
  • Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus awareness and advocacy in collaboration with parent associations.
