HoH Kitongo has hosted 6 training sessions throughout 2023
Some of the achievements from House of Hope Kitongo included hosting continence management training sessions for several parent groups who pass through the transit home. Reports show that throughout 2023, Kitongo HoH’s team succeeded in hosting 6 training sessions with an overall of 50 parents trained. The training sessions involved other activities such as rehabilitation where 45 parents were trained, and counselling services where 30 parents and 3 youth that were battling with trauma received counselling at the House of Hope. A volunteer counsellor from Mainsprings and others from social welfare Ilemela District helped with counselling these parents.
