Visit Child-Help International
Child-Help Tanzania organizes aid for children with Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus.
We also invest in fundamental research into the root-causes of these disabilities and stimulate primary prevention through promoting the use of folic acid and the need for a healthy and varied diet.
Being a pupil, student, or teacher allows you to support Child-Help and simultaneously educate yourself about the South. How? By organizing activities with your school or class.
Some prime examples: organize a special program, plant a tree……. The possibilities are infinite.
We would be pleased to visit your school to give a presentation or to set-up program. This allows you to familiarize yourselves with the works of Child-Help Tanzania.
Intern: “a student or trainee who works, sometimes without pay, in order to gain work experience or satisfy requirements for a qualification.”
Each year, it is estimated that approximately one million families are confronted with these disabilities. Hydrocephalus and spina bifida are occasionally referred to as “the silent killers of a magnitude on the scale of malaria” yet on a global scale these health issues are receiving a very limited amount of attention.
Do you have a special interest in these issues and are you looking for an internship? Do you have a hands-on mentality, can you work independently and are you not afraid to get down to business? Then we at Child-Help would be more than pleased to make your acquaintance!
